Sager Rocking it on his first 50 at the Virgin Outlaw Ride!!! Thanks to Marcia Hefker and Nina Bomar and their horses for being our pals for the day and XP Rides for putting on an incredible week of rides through gorgeous country.

Sager went to his second ride last weekend. He has been on the back burner as he was being collected for frozen semen and his brother was the focus of training and racing. It was so wonderful to be back on the trail at a ride with this confident, engaging, obedient boy. Although I had him cut last month, frozen will eventually be available as he gets further into his racing career. He turns 5 this year so I am still taking it slow. More to come ;)

First pro photo of Sager ar his first ride - a nice slow but very tough 30 miler. His incredible older brother Hass did a 50/day off /50 and came home with a best condition out of 27 horses.

Sagers first pack trip! We jokingly called it "Sagers Outward Bound Course" ;) He had to carry a heavy back pack, make new friends, navigate challenging terrain and live off the land. He did it all with grace despite clearly being knackered! Also extremely proud of his big brother who served as his fearless leader the whole trip

Sager was a rock star at his first endurance ride last weekend. He was a gentleman on trail and for the vets and worked super hard for me despite a very difficult trail. 30 miles on the books! Next time I'll be sure to take more photos ;)

This was the first time I met Sager, not yet 2 years old. Even in a tiny rocky pen with a chewed off tail, we saw something special!

The Hindi farm in central New Mexico has been breeding racing Arabians for more than 60 years! *Bint Attebe on his Dam's side was one of their original imported seed stock mares from Lebanon from which their whole line stems.

Meet "Sager"! He is a 2016 Arabian stallion specifically bred for endurance. I anticipate standing him starting in spring of 2021 and wanted to give you all a chance to get to know him before then.
