Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the farm pens, Not a creature was stirring not even the hens. The stockings were hung in the trading post with care, With hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The heifers were snuggled up warm in their shed, While visions of carrots danced in their heads.
