Madea was one of the awesome dogs from Mobile County Animal Shelter that came out to the Mystic Krewe of Salty Paws parade today!
She has never met a stranger! This sweet girl has striking eyes. As soon as you start to pet her she will flop over for a belly rub and wiggle in the grass with delight.
It’s always so nice to see dogs out of the shelter environment. Every single adoptable dog that attended today was a perfect angel and would be a best buddy for all your adventures.

The Wiener Dog Races are one of our favorite Woofstock traditions. We hope your dachshund or other small dogs are ready for their moment! Races are included with admission to Woofstock! Just stop by the registration tent on-site to have your pup join the fun and win prizes!

Clear the shelter!
We are getting close to our goal of clearing the shelter! Can you foster or adopt one of our remaining pets?
Our facility is aging beyond repair and we are closing the doors at the end of the year as we pivot to nee programs without a shelter facility. We need all our animals placed with adopters or fosters ASAP!
We have lots of great animals who will make wonderful pets! Fosters will receive any supplies they need and ARF covers all the medical care. Foster families provide a loving home until a pet can be adopted!

As ARF pivots to our new mission and life saving, community driven programs, we need your help finding homes for all our current rescues!
