Our rescue...your best friend. All adoptable dogs and cats placed for adoption have been socialized, evaluated and seen by a vet.

All are microchipped, up-to-date on shots, up-to-date on heartworm preventative and spayed/neutered before placement. Adoption donations are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. ARF is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Lewis and Zoey both came to the Massacre Island Haunted Bike Ride after party! They had so much fun meeting everyone. Now let’s make sure we find them adopters ASAP!

They’re both sweet as can be. They were great at the event with hundreds of people. They’re friendly towards other dogs. You couldn’t ask for more.

🆘🆘 Daisy needs a foster home! Daisy has a broken pelvis and we have agreed to sponsor her surgery. She’s a little beagle/hound mix and is the absolute sweetest. She detailed some Woofstock prep on Friday because we just had to stop to visit her for a while at The City of Mobile Animal Services!

Daisy has surgery scheduled this week but she needs a place to recover. She will need low activity after surgery and will have a care plan to increase her exercise as appropriate with her recovery.

ARF will cover any supplies you need to foster her.

Clear the shelter!

We are getting close to our goal of clearing the shelter! Can you foster or adopt one of our remaining pets? Our facility is aging beyond repair and we are closing the doors at the end of the year as we pivot to nee programs without a shelter facility. We need all our animals placed with adopters or fosters ASAP! We have lots of great animals who will make wonderful pets! Fosters will receive any supplies they need and ARF covers all the medical care. Foster families provide a loving home until a pet can be adopted! As ARF pivots to our new mission and life saving, community driven programs, we need your help finding homes for all our current rescues!
