Guinea Pig pair for adoption!

We are sharing this at the owner's request. Healthy and friendly Guinea Pig pair. No issues, but owner's child is allergic to timothy hay, which is a part of their diet.

Did you know geckos can get cataracts and glaucoma? Neither did we, but Oscar went to see Dr. Barr at Barr Skyline Veterinary Hospital today, and he has both! He starts meds today, and most likely will have surgery in the near future.

We took this little guy in with pretty bad crush injuries. She (or he) was found in a yard in Daphne. She has broken ribs and some tissue damage, but her organs are intact and she can pass stool and move her tail. Tomorrow we try food and she will hang with us during her medication and recovery period. She's pretty feisty, we think she will pull through!

Kosmo left the vet today, looking so much better, but still in for days of soaks, medication, and injections. She's feisty though, and we think she's beautiful! Check out her pics from before vs now! Thank you Animal Care Center of Mobile!

Kosmo is still hanging at the vet, and the tech sent me this adorable picture of her getting her medication. She is looking so much better!

What a difference a few days and a great vet make! Kosmo (short for Kosmoceratops) has been hanging with Dr. Knight at Animal Care Center of Mobile for the past few days. Twice daily soaks and antibiotics every 48 hours seem to be helping, and she is starting to look more like an actual Beardie!

Oh my goodness! B&B Pet Stop had this guy dropped off today and immediately gave us a call! He has a vet appointment with Animal Care Center of Mobile first thing in the morning to find out what is going on. He needs a name...any suggestions?

Thank you guys! We were able to find a new home for these cuties!

We are looking for a home for these three female ferrets. All are friendly, playful, and eating well but are thin from a bad living situation. One has a bit of hair loss that the vet thinks may be due to those living conditions. Please pm if you can help!

It is with much sorrow that we must say that one of the founders of Chaos and Critters, Mark T. Bull Jones, passed away this weekend. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

If you have any pictures of Mark with any of the many animals and reptiles that he helped to bring in through rescue, or with them in their new homes, please post them below in the comments so that his family may see and treasure the memory of Mark with his work at Chaos and Critters.

We have two healthy, adorable, young male hedgehogs for adoption. Both were born January 2nd and have been vet checked. Nod (spots) is a little friendlier, but Blinkin will come out to play if you give him time. Both are eating well on hedgehog diet with treats and occasional mealworms.
