Isn’t she purrrfect?! Ruby received her first official kitten boosters and did it all with purs and loving meows. She made sure no work was done at the clinic, as she was the center of attention …just the way she wanted it!🌹

🚨 ATTENTION!!!! Thanksgiving is right around the corner!!! Don’t miss out on our last few boarding spots!! Canines and felines, big and small; we can squeeze them all!!

We also want to let everyone know we will be closed for the holidays. Starting Thanksgiving day, November 28th, through Sunday, December 1st. Of course we will have kennel assistants during this time taking wonderful care of all the fur babies while they board with us. 🚨

🥰We LOVE Grits! Grits is a special boy we have seen since he was a little dumpling! We see this boy routinely to monitor his seizures and bloodwork, but yesterday we cleaned his teeth! Although his teeth weren’t too bad, it is always best to maintain your pet’s teeth just like we do ours. Grits is ALWAYS a good boy, even with a few teeth being removed, he did not complain!🥰

Today was a sad day for us at the AHOM. We had to say goodbye to one of our own, Kaboodle. Kaboodle was an older man, spunky, and always hungry. We will miss his old man meows, his loud purrs, and his sweet nudges when he wanted attention….or your chicken biscuit. Kaboodle came to us as a surprise; boarding here while his owner was out of town and one day just staying with us as his owner could no longer keep him. He has been a joyful light throughout the entire clinic, always making our clients smile at the checkout desk. His stay with us wasn’t very long, but to us, his 5 long, loving years were nothing but a pleasure. The Animal Hospital of Mobile will miss you Kaboodle… tell Simon we said “Hello”.

✂️Rocky wants to remind everyone that the holidays are coming soon and whoever needs a holiday hair cut to let our groomer, Emily, know!! Emily is great at her job and makes sure she grooms with all the love and care she can give. If you are interested in getting your dog or cat groomed, give us a call, she will be glad to squeeze you in!✂️

-This is Boots! Boots has been a regular here for quite some time. We love him! As you see he is being the best boy on our x-ray table. He is here for an intermittent lameness and we hope to see improvement as the days go on, we hate to see this lovely boy in pain!!-

💅Lillie Mae came to visit and she did NOT disappoint! Pony tail and a cute bow, she was ready to see our Veterinarian and our staff! Lillie Mae is always the most glamorous and happy girl, we love seeing her!💅

It's officially National Veterinary Technician week, but we would like to thank our entire Veterinary team at AHOM who work so hard and with so much love and compassion every day! From the Receptionists to the Kennel Assistants to the Veterinary Assistants to the Groomer, to our Hospital Administrator, we are lucky to work with such awesome staff, and it truly takes a village! Please take a moment to thank the people who provide amazing care for you and your pets, this week and always.
