A fantastically ribbon-filled day today for Team Dixieland at the Hero Benefit Open Show At TTC today! Everyone went out there and gave their all, every ride, and their hard work paid off! Congratulations to DELANEY & TERRY, NINA & RED, and RACHEL & KANANI (who made his horse show debut today after having come from the auction a mere 2 months ago and having his eye removed days after). To say I am proud of this crew would be a massive understatement. They are all absolute rockstars!

Team Dixieland was on fire this past weekend at the TTC Hunter Show! The weather was spectacular and so were the rides by our outstanding crew of riders and their trusty steeds. Congratulations to FLEMING & TERRY (Reserve Champions in Student Hunter), TYLER & TERRY (Reserve Champions in 2' Hunters), JENNA & BUTTERS and NINA & RED. I am so proud of all of you...your riding, your horsemanship, your teamwork, your sportsmanship and your dedication!

What a fantastic weekend it was for Team Dark Side Dressage at Labor of Love I & II! It was full of firsts, and highs, and milestones and so much talent, dedication and fun. What a privilege it is to coach this crew and to work with these horses...
AVA & COLE had four great Training Level tests, really honing in on the things this lovely duo need to work on to move up. COLE also won high point older (over 20) horse for the weekend! Next stop for them is the NCDCTA Championships!
GRACIE & BUTTERS made their Dressage show debut with 2 fabulous scores of 68.5% and 65.9% in Intro Level, looking like they'd be doin' it for years! Looks like they'll be moving up to Training level!
KEEGAN & BUTTERS also stepped into the sandbox for the very first time and hauled in 2 fantastic scores of 66.2% and 63.7% in Intro Level. They will be making the move up to Training Level as well!
And of course FINN and I had a banner weekend...we hit our personal best score in First Level, qualifying for both CBLMs and the NCDCTA Championships, and securing our Bronze medal scores for First Level. I am so proud of him and how far he's come. He was a joy to ride and we got a lot of praise from the judges. On to Second Level!
Massive thanks to our amazing Abi who we could NOT have survived this weekend without. She braided, she coached, she read tests, and she kept us all in stitches! Love ya, lady!
A huge thanks to Amanda, Heather, Julie, Brent, Joe and Michael for all their support for the kiddos and the team...the laughs and love, the snacks, the shopping, the pictures and video and being the best pit crew ever!

It was a fabulous long weekend for Dark Side Dressage at this past weekend's Tryon Summer Dressage I & II Shows! I am beyond proud of all our riders and horses who put in fantastic rides each and every time they went out there. Every single duo finished the weekend with a personal best score in their test.

Charlie & HARVEY stepped into the sandbox for their second big show together and had 3 days of solid Intro tests despite Harvey being attacked by a bee on his way down centerline Friday.

Anna & MARSHALL moved up to Training Level and turned in great rides but more importantly qualified for USDF Dressage Seat Equitation Semi-Finals at Regionals this October with a whopping 71%!

AVA & COLTRANE also moved up to Training Level and had super tests and made so much growth together.

MARIE & BUTTERS made their final show appearance together before Marie heads off to UGA for college in August. It was bittersweet watching this powerhouse partnership strut their stuff together one last time (for now...) but seeing the amazing things they have accomplished together will forever be one of my greatest joys as a trainer/coach.

FINN and I also had a wonderful weekend
together after a rocky start. Had our personal best score in First Level test 2 and some wonderful scores and comments from the judges that let me know we are heading the right way! We are thrilled with how well Finn is doing in the Devoucoux saddle and so proud to be sponsored by this fantastic company!

Massive thanks to Jennifer Dipple Flowers for coaching me to success this weekend while simultaneously being show-mom to her own amazing daughter, Finleigh, at the Hunter Show on the other side of the showgrounds.

Thanks to Abi Walker and Kimberly Clements Allen for helping me with coaching and test-reading duties when ride times starting clashing! And to Jane Furches, Amanda Park Basinger, Lamenda Ennis Cashion, Brenda Jarvis, and Melissa Walker for being the best show-moms ever!
Mostly I want to thank all of the incredible support all our friends and family gave all weekend. Parents, siblings, boyfriends, girlfriends, aunts, cousins, friends...kept us all laughing, hydrated, fed and showered with love all week. Love you all!
