What an amazing story we have for y'all!

Sadie was brought into the hospital for weight loss. Her owners could tell she wasn't feeling well, but she wasn't having any vomiting or diarrhea.

After a physical examination and in hospital imaging diagnostics, Dr. McCaskill discovered a large mass in Sadie's abdomen. The size and location of the mass left us with only two options, surgery or humane euthanasia. Sadie's family and Dr. McCaskill decided to take the risk on Sadie and go into surgery that same day.

This was a very lengthy and complicated surgery. The mass involved the right o***y, kidney, adrenal gland and had invaded the caudal vena cava. Sadie is a survivor dog and has gotten through so many hurdles!

We are thrilled to report that 5 days out from surgery Sadie is thriving!
