☀️🔥 Heat Safety Tips for Pets 🔥☀️

As temperatures rise, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe and cool! Here are a few quick reminders:

💧 Hydration is key - Always provide fresh, cool water throughout the day.
🚗 Never leave pets in parked cars – Even a few minutes can be dangerous.
🐾 Exercise smart – Walk pets early morning or evening to avoid overheating and hot pavement. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
🏠 Provide shade & shelter – Make sure pets have a cool, shaded area to rest during hot days.
⚠️ Watch for heat stroke – Signs include heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. Call your vet right away if you notice any symptoms.

Keep your pets cool, safe, and happy this summer! 🐶🐱💦

🚨 SAGO PALM = TOXIC TO PETS 🚨

Sago palms may look pretty, but they’re highly poisonous to dogs and cats. Even a small bite can cause liver failure and be life-threatening.

⚠️ All parts of the plant are toxic—especially the seeds.
⏰ If your pet eats any part, seek emergency care right away.

Check your home and yard—let’s keep our pets safe! 🐾
