My husband and I (Amanda and Dustin) bought the business in July 2012 and have been running it since! We both really enjoy the mobile dog business because its a lot less stress on your fur babys and also on yourself! Dog grooming has been in our family for many years now. We have 5 shops in our family starting with Dustin's brother and his wife in South San Francisco with Bark'n Bubbles, and Dusti

n's sister with Ruff house in Atwater and another shop in Oakdale, and our sister in law with The Upscale Tail mobile pet grooming in Oakley, then of corse the Sh***in' Waggin'. Hopefully more to come :)

Good morning everybody

Dustin and I have thought about this for a while now and we have some unfortunate news. Dustin and I (amanda) have decided to start the process of closing the Sh***in Waggin so we can focus on our shop in Modesto tangled tails. We are very sorry to announce this as we have loved to service the Modesto surrounding area since 2012, And we had built so many relationships with all of you. but with our health mentally and physically we have to make this decision.

we are hoping to see all of you at our salon on Carpenter in Kansas here in Modesto but I understand that sometimes mobile is easier just stick with. I do have recommendations for other mobiles

I am not canceling appointments as of right now I am still working in the mobile and letting everybody know when I see them so if you have an appointment I am not canceling I will contact you if I have to cancel we are planning on being mobile for the next few months still 💜

As most of you know Lynda has started her own mobile in the beginning of the year and Ashley mom and daughter team are hoping to start there soon and so is Perry husband and wife team. They are not canceling any appointments and are still pre-booking after appointments

I have recommendations for people who wish to stay with mobile

I do want to say I’m sorry for this phone situation. as a lot of my clients know  I work average of 10 hours a day in the mobile and I am the only one who answers the phone and text messages it has been very overwhelming as I get a lot of messages and with adding a second phone has made it impossible for me to keep up.

We have some unfortunate news. Starting September 1st we will no longer be servicing Manteaca, Lathrop, Waterford, and Denair. We are so sorry and sad but we are now down 2 groomers in top of an already over booked schedule. If you would like recommendations for other mobiles on the area feel free to message me 😊

We will continue to service Oakdale, riverbank, Escalon, Ripon, Modesto, Ceres, Turlock

Hello everybody

I just want to apologize for all the delay in response to text messages. We are not trying to ignore you we have gone through a few tragic family emergencies over the last 2 years and another local mobile went out of business causing my phone to blow up!

We also got Covid a few weeks ago and we were off for two full weeks very sick and a lot of messages got jumbled and I’m so sorry if I did not get back with you.

There has been a few changes with us we are short staffed now one of our lovely groomers is going on their own adventures and my husband and I are opening a new shop in Modesto off of Carpenter in Kansas called tangled tails hoping to open May or most likely June. We are booking up super fast in the mobile and have limited availability.

Hi  everybody! As most of you may have heard that Stanislous county has made grooming essential 🎉🎉

I have been for the last six hours nonstop trying to return all my text messages and answer the phone calls coming in. I do want to apologize for everybody who has been waiting for an appointment  we are trying to get everybody in in a timely manner but are booking up fast. We have been close for the past few weeks and have hundreds of regulars who’s appointments have been messed up. I am apologizing if I cannot get everybody in as quickly as they would like but am doing my best!! We miss you all and are looking forward to seeing everybody!!

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this is for the safety for us you and the fur babies.  please be patient with us we have had a lot of phone calls coming in due to other shops closing at this time.
