We have a baby kitten that was a semi feral when she was first trapped. We have since started to domesticate her. She is still shy but she’s opening up!

She has been combo tested and is negative for FeLv, Leukemia and Heartworm. She has been spayed, flea treated and dewormed. She is very playful we’re continuing working with her (she’s no longer afraid of people and won’t hiss when you approach her and lets you pet her and play with her) so far she is still afraid of being held for periods of time.

Don't forget about your fuzzy friends during the heat! Ground surfaces warm up more than the air above it, and if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pet's little paws! Consider walking your animals earlier in the day, before the ground has had a chance to heat up.

It’s going to be a HOT week!

Extreme heat can be dangerous for pets, and can lead to heatstroke, which can be fatal. To keep your pet safe, you can try these tips:
Keep pets inside
Try to keep pets in an area that's not hotter than 80°F. If you don't have air conditioning, you can provide access to breezy rooms.
Provide shade and water
When your pet is outside, make sure they have access to shade and plenty of fresh, cold water. Tree shade and tarps are ideal because they don't block airflow. If it's hot, you can add ice to their water.
Limit outdoor time
Avoid leaving your pet outside during peak heat hours. If the temperature is over 90°F, you shouldn't leave your dog outside for more than 10–20 minutes at a time, and you should monitor them closely.
