Guess who's celebrating their 40th anniversary? KITTY HAVEN SANCTUARY AND RESCUE, that's who!
That's right...September 4th marks *40* years of caring for the Central Valley's unwanted, abandoned, and abused kitties! THOUSANDS of cats and kittens have passed through our doors, most of them have been adopted, but some of them still remain. And I'll be transparent with you folks; Candy is struggling. Finances are tight. And the years of wear and tear on Candy and her daughter, Susie, have really taken their toll. Yet, their love of these cats is the driving force to struggle through their physical pain to give them the care that they need and deserve day after day. As a woman who also suffers from arthritis and back pain (and a former volunteer) I know how hard the work is. I admire their dedication and courage, but my donation alone won't carry them. Please help me honor the pioneer in cat rescue here in Modesto!. No donation is too small!

It is cat season and stray appointments do fill up faster than you can blink an eye. You can come for your free spay/neuter certificates for cats. No cost and is redeemable at local veterinarians to avoid cats entering the shelter.

GUESS WHO IS CELEBRATING A PURRTHDAY TODAY!!! Today, a Woman, who is very near and dear to my heart, is celebrating her birthday. She has run this sanctuary for almost 38 years. THIRTY EIGHT years of giving to the community and these cats! Well, today is the day to give back! Though her health prevents her from taking on any more cats at this time, She still wakes up every morning, fights through the pain of her crippling arthritis and fibromyalgia (and the list goes on) to give 110% of her love, support, and care to the remaining cats at the sanctuary. Won't you help me, and The Haven Cats, celebrate this birthday by giving your love, support, and care to a woman who has become like a second mom to me.
