Double Trouble!!

On Saturday afternoon before Chili left for his new home, we took Chili and Rusty along on a shopping trip to the Joann Fabric store. They were very popular with the other shoppers!

Bell left for her new home today. Her new name is Mars, and she will be living in Massachusetts!

We took the pups on a socialization trip to Cabela’s today!

The pups slept in the crate in the car for the 40 minute car ride there and back. In the store, we alternated having the pups ride in the stroller and being carried. They all did great and did not startle at any of the different sights, sounds, and smells in the store. They even got to experience riding up and down on the elevator!

Piquillo was the next pup to leave for his new home today. His new name is Mater! Congrats to Mater and his new family!

Ghost’s new home will be with my niece Natalie! Natalie was the pups’ great grandma Cayenne’s person. Natalie has been on the list for a long time for one of Cayenne’s great granddaughters. Ghost’s new name is Pequin Pepper, and her call name is Quin. She will be participating in a variety of dog sports with Natalie. We will continue to share photos and videos of Quin as she grows!

Although Quin’s markings are adorable, because they are considered a mismark and not the standard Labrador Retriever coloring, Quin will not be part of our breeding program.

Savina was the first puppy to leave with her new family! She will be keeping her pepper name and will continue to be called Savina!

Last puppy pile of 7 before one of the puppies leaves for her new home this morning. I love each one of these pups and will miss them, but I am very glad that they are going to amazing new families who will love them as much as I do!

For those of you who have been curious about our little Ghost, we had a DNA test done through Embark to see what genetic traits she has. As we already knew, she is 100% Labrador Retriever. Unfortunately, there was nothing in the genetic trait results to indicate why she has the white markings that she does; so that will remain a mystery! She is just a very unique Labrador Retriever puppy!

Took the pups on the road today for an office visit where I work at Riverfront Federal Credit Union. They did great, got to go for a car ride, and met a lot of new people! Now they are very tired! 😀

One of Kiara’s favorite things to do on a warm summer day is to splish splash in her kiddie pool! 🐾💦

Happy 3rd Birthday to Nala!!! She spent her birthday and our last morning at canine camp running the lure course which she loved!

The puppies are really moving tonight! If you look closely in the video, you can see the ripples across Nala’s belly which are the puppies moving around! Only a week to go!!!

We recently started taking Nala to Canine Performance Events (CPE) agility trials. She is doing very well and having a lot of fun! This is a video of Nala’s Level 1 standard run with Natalie at the trial last Saturday. Nala qualified and earned 1st place and her CPE Level 1 Standard title with this run! 🐾🏅

Happy 2nd Birthday to Wally, Moose, Luna, Kura, Kona, Kaju, Freddy, Clay, Blaze, Bella, Amber, Archie!!! Video is of the pups when they were 7 weeks old.

On Saturday, these pups from our last litter in 2020 will be 2 years old!!! It has been a long time since we have had the pitter patter of puppy feet in the house but are looking forward to planning a litter with Simba and Nala later this year (pending Nala’s hip and elbow certification testing in June)! If everything goes well, we might have puppies late fall (possibly winter) this year! 🐾 🐾
