We are looking for volunteers to time stock runs at Stocktober Fest, October 11-13, at Fido's Farm, in Olympia. You'll sit with one of the judges and watch a day of stock runs! It's always been an annual problem but lately the number of dogs with feet full of foxtails is far worse than I've ever seen before. Please keep an eye out for suspicious small wounds that dogs pay attention to that do not resolve.

Backyard burning is closed this weekend starting today (Friday 5/10/2024) due to the expected higher temperatures. The county will evaluate the possibility of opening burning on Sunday or Monday after seeing how dry fire fuels are.

Little Missy got her first haircut on Wednesday, while she didn't want to hold still for her face she was a 8/10 for the rest of the process. It's important to start puppies grooming training when they're young so that it's enjoyable for them and the groomer for the rest of thier life. Always rebook your next appointment before leaving the shop upon check out, most good groomers are booked out 6 weeks or more. Happy Friday

Local groomers, (Happy Valley, Oregon or nearby) does anyone have a walk in tub for a large dog with a neck injury. I'm trying to help the owner who was referred to me by her vet ;)
