We might not be located in Gulf Breeze, but we serve the community often by bringing the rescued animals to summer camps, library talks, festivals and more! SWC Fall/Winter Homeschool day 👩‍🏫
Date: Friday Dec. 12th, 2025
Time: 9am-12pm
Price: $10 per child, $5 per adult, 2 and under free

Do you homeschool your children? Skip the biology book and head over to SWC's homeschool day. Check out the classes below:

9-9:45am- Mammals: Dive into the fascinating world of mammals from around the world. Learn about food chains, adaptations, ecology, and more (all ages welcome)
9:45am-10am- BREAK/FREE PLAY
10-10:45am- Reptiles: Leaping lizards, slithering snakes, and tons of tortoises. Learn about different reptiles from around the world (all ages welcome)
10:45-11- BREAK/FREE PLAY
11-11:30- Farm Animals: help us care for the goats, chickens, and pigeons. Learn what they eat, how to care for them, and talk about farming (best for kids 8-17)
11:30-12pm- Nature Scavenger hunt and free time. Ask questions, check out our merch, and enjoy free time around the animals.

You can enjoy 1 class or stay for the whole day. Goat feed cups will be $1 with merch, snacks, and drinks for sale. PLEASE bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for sitting. We will have some seating, but it will likely not be enough for everyone. Outside food and drink are fine. No outside animals.

Payment: $10 per child and $5 per adult. You can pay cash, Venmo, CashApp, and check with no fee. We do take cards but there is a 4.13% processing fee. We will have receipts if needed.
