Bluebill Time Lapse
Many people have expressed interest in seeing just how a taxidermist goes about preserving a trophy. We hear the question all the time, so we here at VanderPol Taxidermy decided to make some time lapse videos detailing the processes involved in mounting an animal. Now there are many ways to go about it, and different taxidermists use different methods. The methods you will see in the video is simply the way we choose to do it. This method can and will change when we find/learn better methods. This video is of a Bluebill duck being mounting in the "decoy" pose and is a bit longer at about 5:40 since it shows the entire process after skinning the bird. I apologize for the lack of sound, its our first video, and we are hoping to include audio in later videos.
