Today, my final rescue departs for its new home, prompting reflection. Having turned 84 on October 12, I recognize the need to adjust my commitments. Moving to town, though not preferred, has become essential. Sarah's health struggles and diminished capacity to assist have necessitated this shift. The 25 years since retiring from aviation have been deeply rewarding, thanks to my animal care work.
