Congratulations Team Yogi!!!

We've had a tough summer with a lot of growing pains. Some the handler, some the dog. Yogi and Rich finished their first Open today with a Reserve Jam. We are thrilled and proud of our boy.

SASSEVILLE’S DEUCES WILD brings home a BLUE for my BIRTHDAY WEEKEND, at Chippewa valley Amateur Field trial! Deuce was handled by Randy for his competitive win. Deuce is co -owned by Dick Dallasassee & Randy & Mary Spangler. Deuce joined our family this summer and is a son to our late NAFC FC Mulligan Off the Rainy T JH . He has been a joy to have, and has acclimated fast to our dog family. Deuce’s bark sounds just like Mully, which helps to keep his memory alive.
We are so appreciative to Dick for trusting us to train and compete with Deuce. Also a big “THANK YOU” to the judges Eddie Tomaskek & Joel Enochs, for their challenging tests, the club members and hired help, for a smooth organized trial. It’s always a great way to end the season in the Mondovi area!

Proud of my AFC Big River Charlie. 1st place at MFTA Amateur and a 2nd place at Watopa’s Open qualifies him for the 2025 National Amateur Championship in Mondovi!

Brigitte (HR WHD's Breezy Rain O'er The Field MH QA2) and I earned a 4th place finish at the Watopa Retriever Club Owner/Handler Amatuer! The 'Lil B' continues to impress me and make me proud!
Thank you to Watopa, the judges, and the incredible workers. Congrats to Rick and Izzy for 1st, Joel and Torq for 2nd and Jon and Holly for 3rd and all those that finished. Also a special congrats to Jeff and Poppet (Brigitte's sister) for a JAM and their first Am finish! Thank you to all those that help get me here, throw birds for me and give me advice. And thank you to God for another beautiful weekend spent among friends with our incredible dogs!

BLACKHAWK MEMBERS had a good showing at the WATOPA AMATEUR FIELD TRIAL THIS WEEKEND! We had many accomplishments for several members: The Amateur stake had 40 competing dogs, with challenging series.
Jon Muller & Holly took 3rd place, this was Jon’s first placement in an ALL AGE stake.
Harry Scholfield & Bridgette took 4th place, making it his third placement this year with his girl.
Mary Spangler & Lulu brought home the Reserve Jam ( RJ ) this is this teams’ second finish together this season.
Jeff Brezee & Poppet received a JAM, this was their first ALL AGE FINISH
Julie Kobach & Peanut received a JAM in the Amateur, additionally Julie & Peach received a JAM in the Open!!!
Randy Spangler & RIP finished there first ALL AGE Amateur stake, receiving a JAM. Rip is 34 months old!!!

HYFLYER’S TURN ME LOOSE ( LULU ) brings home the RJ from a 40 dog Amateur at the WATOPA RETRIEVER CLUB Trial held this weekend. Challenging tests were put up by judges Dave Robertson & Edward Staheli, making the Amateur fun to run and watch. A big “ THANK YOU “ to the judges, & club members for their organizational skills, and keeping the trial running smoothly. Congratulations to all that placed and received ribbons!!!
A very FUN WEEKEND for the SPANGLERS!!!

One more ribbon from last weekend, for John Lynch & Hyflyer’s Bow Chicka Wow Wow ( CHICKA )
Chicka finished her second Derby with a JAM at Chippewa Valley Retriever Club this past Saturday.
So PROUD of our little girl for stepping it up! THANK YOU JOHN LYNCH for all your Time & Dedication to our dogs !!

ANOTHER WEEKEND WITH COLORED RIBBONS for the HYFLYER GIRLS! TEAM SPUNKY & TEAM ZUMA showed off their skills at the Chippewa Valley Senior Hunting Test today at Deer Park, Wi. This is Spunky’s third leg towards her title and Zuma’s second leg. Both Girls were handled by Pat Bilskemper, who did an excellent job, to earn their passes. CONGRATULATIONS PAT ON YOUR SUCCESSFUL DAY!!!!! A big “ THANK YOU “ to the !andowners Barb & Joel Enochs, the judges, and club members for all their hard work to make this hunting test weekend a SUCCESS!

What a great Friday! Luna took home the blue at the Wisconsin Amateur derby. I am so happy! We had a bit of a struggle this summer but thanks to so many amazing people who helped us, and you know who you are😁, we were able to work things out. Thank you Sean Jackson and FireWater Farms for picking this girl out for me. I love her!!
