CALVING CLINIC JANUARY 9, 2025
Clinic will be held at the SW MU Research, Extension, and Education Center in Mt. Vernon Mo. There will be 2 sessions offered. The first is from 9a.m. to 12 p.m. The second session is from 2 p.m. to 5p

This clinic will provide hands on demonstration with calf pulling, tubing, cow condition scoring and weighing. Some of the topics of discussion will include:

Determination of calf presentations during calving.
Techniques to assist livestock through difficult birth.
Techniques to care for a newborn calf.
Techniques to care for the mother after a difficult birth.
