Great first rated show experience for Flexi this weekend at PVDA’s Fall Show! 🍂🍁🍃 Not only was it her first rated competition, but also her first overnight show and first time out at 1st level. This perfect girl won her large 1st level Test 1 class on Saturday with a 71.852%! She received a solid 66.389% on 1-3 on Saturday, earning one qualifying score for Regionals. 🥳 Sunday she received a respectable 61.250% for 1-3 with lots of room for improvement.

Looking forward to winter training and preparing for spring shows! 💕 Thank you to Michael L Brown Jr. for all your help this weekend and to County Saddlery - Maryland and Delaware for your partnership! Flexi loves her Epiphany! Big thanks to PVDA for a great show weekend!

Super fun day at the By Chance Halloween schooling show! The Brightwood crew rode beautiful tests and received some really positive and helpful comments from the judges ❤️ Then when the rides were over, we relaxed and tailgated with friends while waiting on scores!

Results:

Eastyn and Sylvester stole the show with a whopping 78.5% in Intro C, winning their class! They even won the “Wine for a 9” special prize for getting a 9 in their test. 🍷

Catie and Demi looked stunning at their first dressage show, earning almost 60%. They recieved some good scores and comments and placed 2nd!

Sarah and Flexi showed off their skills, earning a 62% at Intro A and 63% at Intro B. They took home some beautiful 3rd and 4th place ribbons!

Thank you Michele, volunteers and judges for making this such an enjoyable show!

Brightwood Farm

Brightwood Farm is a boarding stable situated on 12 beautiful acres in Monkton, MD. The barn holds eight 12x12 stalls, an indoor wash rack with H/C water, and a tack room. There are six paddocks that accommodate individual or small group turnout.

Plenty of room to ride and hack, including a lovely jump field.

The peaceful environment and individualized care provides a happy and healthy home for horses and peace of mind for their owners.
