Who wants a Monday Mood lift? Sha Sha was once a "feral" mom cat, living the street life with her two adorable kittens, constantly hungry and cold, and probably wondering where all the good takeout spots were. We scooped her up, giving her the vet care she desperately needed and a safe place to crash. Fast forward to now, and Sha Sha is living her best life as a total couch potato, with zero plans to ever leave her comfy spot. Thanks to her superhero adopter with copious patience, Sha Sha's gone from street survivalist to professional napper.

Good morning! We are back with three more kittens that need you to open your home to them. These three mini-fluffs are looking for somewhere to land temporarily. They need to get more exposure to humans and life before they'll be ready for adoption. Kittens that need socialization aren't wild gremlins. Well, no more than any kittens their same age. It typically means they need a safe place to see that humans aren't so scary and not everything is reason to run and hide.

Please give these babies a chance at a normal, balanced life by helping them now! If you can, please call or text our coordinator, Cynde, now at 410-627-6563.

As some of you know, earlier this year we were highly focused on the rescue needs of a hoarding situation. We are happy to report that all cats we rescued are now adopted! The vet care--most of which was beyond the basics--cost us around $12,000 in the end.

We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of volunteers and financial support. This could not have happened for these cats if people were not generous with their money, time, homes, and love.

On this please consider making a donation to allow us to continue such efforts. Any rescue can take in healthy animals and adopt them out. Please take special care of those rescues who do not shy away from the sick and injured pets.

Happy Thanksgiving, PRoM family. We are rather grateful for you. For the shares and donations. Grateful for our hard working volunteers. We are thankful we can help pets to a happier life.

Please keep your pets safe today. You never know what Grandma might, with good intentions, try to slip to your pet under the table. While waiting for that water to boil for the potatoes, you can review the foods to avoid giving to your pets. Even if it's considered a safe food, be careful not to overdo it!

With the holiday season upon us, you may be considering buying a puppy or kitten. Please go to a shelter or adopt through a rescue instead. End the cycle where we are inundated with owner surrenders 6 months later.

Callie has an bottomless well of love to give. She's a 3 year old Boston Terrier. About 20 lbs. She's good with kids. She's good with other dogs yet would prefer ones kind of close to her size. Sadly, her owner couldn't keep her but we're positive there's an amazing forever home waiting for her.

Guess what's coming up? Another opportunity to get your pets microchipped FOR FREE! Four locations! Three hours. You have all the reasons to go, and no excuses not to! Microchips are an invaluable tool for finding the owner of a lost pet. ID tags and collars can fall off, but chips remain.

This service is made possible because of BARCS Animal Shelter, Maryland SPCA, Baltimore Humane Society, and Baltimore County Animal Services.
