The JRTCA and its registry were founded in 1976 for the purpose of protecting and preserving the unique characteristics and working heritage of this great little terrier, and remains dedicated to that purpose today.

The Dogwood Jack Russell Terrier Club is excited to announce...

'We are thrilled to announce our Winter Fun Day and "Jack Frost" Celebration, happening on December 7th and 8th at Camp Harmony in Elbert County, Georgia! This year, the Dogwood Club is hosting the event as a placeholder for our Florida friends, but don’t worry—we’re excited to head further south next December for a special Yuletide celebration.
Jack Frost Celebration Activities!
It’s going to be a fun weekend! The event will include Racing, Go-to-Ground, Super Earth, brush hut and a special Training Seminar for the Conformation Curious. Plus, join us for a lively Dirty Santa gift exchange in the dining hall on Saturday night! Watch our website or the Dogwood page for more details.

Looking ahead, we’ve secured the beautiful Rabun Arena in the Georgia mountains for the Dogwood Summer Classic on July 19th and 20th, 2025. Mark your calendars—we have some exciting plans in store, and more details will follow soon!
Event Details
Camp Harmony offers a fantastic setting for our winter gathering, featuring a dining hall, bunkhouses, ball fields, and camper spaces with 30-amp power and water. On Saturday night, we’ll enjoy a group dinner in the dining hall, and we’re planning a raffle drawing to support the JRTCA. If you’d like to contribute, please bring a raffle prize to the event.
