Meet my newest friends, Goose and Maverick! Born this past January, they are the youngest cats I’ve ever cared for.

We all had so much fun together. It was so cute watching their kitten antics!

And of course, I had to turn them into AirForce pilots, as they are named after characters from ‘Top Gun’ ✈️

This is my girl Skye and she is a hoot!

I think her leg looks like a periscope in the second pic…pretty sure her captain’s log says ‘day 4 in the cardboard submarine. Still no sign of tuna’ 😂😂

Whispering Rise Farm & Animal Sanctuary is a local pig sanctuary. I visited once and really enjoyed my time there!

My local fire department has a fireworks display every year less than 5 minutes from my house. My dog is not a fan of this annual event, like many other dogs.

In the past, we’ve stayed at home and given her meds, played white noise loudly in the tv, etc.

This year I decided to do something different. We drove 20 minutes south to a school and walked around for a bit. Then we came back to the car where she and I hung out.

I’m so glad we did this! She has a chronic condition called Addisons disease and if she gets really stressed out, she can develop ‘Addisonian crisis’ and need medical intervention.

Tonight, Dr. Mom chose to dispense a dose of preventative medicine. A great time was had by all!
