Meet Hercules and Delta. This morning Phil was on the road for Freedom Ride Animal Rescue heading to Kahoka, MO for a transport. Phillip Cooper picked up these two large beautiful gold retrievers and is now headed to Princeton, IL to meet up with their new rescue. Lastnight we had one of our latest transports we have been on yet. We were asked to help transport a mom and her 8 puppies for Quad City Animal Welfare Center. Brandy and Ryan drove to Bloomington, IL for an 11pm meeting with another transport group on their way to Northern Illinois and Wisconsin with rescue dogs from a high kill area in Louisiana. Once they had Mom is a 3 year old Australian cattle mix and her 7 (8 weeks old) puppies plus 1 foster she took in they made their way to Milan, IL to the shelter. Thank you QCAWC for saving mom and her puppies and letting us be a part of their Freedom Ride to a new life. This afternoon Brandy traveled to Kahoka, MO to pick up 2 cocker spaniels for our friends at Rockstar Cocker Rescue and then headed back to Galesburg, IL. Meet Missy a 3 year female and this handsome 11 week old male puppy. The real side of transporting these sweet pups sometimes 🐶. Phillip Cooper has all 7 loaded up and is headed for Quad City Animal Welfare Center where they are taking in 5 for us today ( 3 mini goldendoodles, a mini poodle and a cocker spaniel). After that Phil and the 2 female pugs will be heading back to Monmouth where Brandy Woehler will finish their transport to Ruby's Rescue & Retreat, NFP., McLean IL. Thank you to both QCAWC and Ruby's Rescue for saving these 7 dogs today, we couldn't do what we do without all of the great Rescues and Shelters we work with.

Before Roy gets dropped off Phil will be making a stop in Towanda, IL with 3 Shelties (1 male and 2 females) at Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue. We have a busy few days coming up Friday Phil and Brandy will be back on the road with a few more transports and then Saturday morning we have our 1st Annual 5k and 1 Mile Walk & Wag as well as our Virtual 5K. Then on Sunday we are working with a few people on a 2 day long leg transport that we are helping with for Knox County Humane Society.

Today is a busy transport day for us, Phil is on the road early this morning heading to Kahoka, MO to pickup 4 dogs. Three of the dogs will be heading to Towanda, IL where he will meet up with a Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue. After getting 3 of the 4 settled in he will head back towards Galesburg, IL where he will meet Lynne from Rockstar Cocker Rescue for his last dog. Over 650 miles and 10 hours later Brandy finished her round trip today. She started by heading to St Louis, MO area to pickup 6, 11 week old heeler puppies before heading to All Herding Breed Dog Rescue in Joliet, IL. Thank you to All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois for saving them and asking us to help be a part of their transport this weekend. Today was another busy Rescue Transport day today for us. Phil was on the road early this morning on his way to Kahoka, MO to pick up 2 Cocker Spaniels and a King Charles Cavalier. These 3 will be headed to foster homes later today with Rockstar Cocker Rescue. After his first pickup Phil made his way to Mt. Pleasant Iowa to pick up an owner surrender, Enzo for GABR -Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. Enzo will be spending the weekend with Phil and his family before heading to Dwight, IL on Monday to his new foster home. On top of the 200+ mile round trip Phil had today, he was also on the road yesterday with a transport from Iowa to Milan, IL . Phil had 5 dogs yesterday, 3 female Frenchie's and 2 Pugs that were saved from breeder life and transported to Quad City Animal Welfare Center. Thank you to Rocker Cocker Rescue, Guardian Angel Basset Rescue and Quad City Animal Welfare Center for saving these 9 dogs over the past 2 days and thank you to Phil for transporting them this weekend.

Phil will be heading we Dwight, IL to take this guy to the vet and then he will be heading to his new home with GABR - Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. Phil got a call for a last minute transport from Roseville Veterinary Services this afternoon for this little guy heading for PAWS in Ft. Madison. We were glad we could help this guy today.

We cannot thank all of our supporters, amazing volunteers and Rescues that we have been able to work with this year for their support. Today we had our final transport of 2023; we were able to help place and save 208 dogs and a few other animals this year by transporting them to no kill Rescues and Shelters. We also had 7 Free Microchip Clinics this year and microchipped over 500 dogs and cats. Thank you to everyone who has helped contribute, followed our page and shared our posts. We are looking forward to helping even more animals next year!

Meet, June Bug, Bashful, Elle & Reba. Phillip Cooper was out early this morning picking up these 4 mini schnauzers up in Iowa where they will be taking their Freedom Ride's from breeder life to their new Rescue. Once in Monmouth, IL Brandy took over the second half of the drive to McLean, IL.
