Elly did so well on her loose leash walking. She was constantly a darter. She’d get nervous, and try to pull ahead, or switch from side to side. She’s still trying to hide behind me, but what a HUGE improvement!!
When the get together has more dogs than people, you know it’s going to be fun!
With the new place, people, and all the other dogs running around, Elly still held her climb command perfectly. She never broke!!
Treat time!! I thought for sure this would be more of a challenge for this foodie, but she held that down like a pro!! Maybe sweet potatoes aren’t her favorite.
Elly did a fantastic job of holding her down commands as I threw toys past her, and my Border Collie frantically tries to chase after them! 🤦♀️ That was a pretty tough distraction!!
Elly is learning to hold her sit command nicely without jumping all over her guests. It may still be her nervousness, but I’ll still take the credit for her perfect sit stay! 🤪
Elly is back and better than ever at holding her commands! We came here yesterday to give it a go and she was very nervous, panting and shaking. Today, it’s a night and day difference! She’s engaged, focused, and most importantly, happy!! Great improvement, Elly!!
After our cold training session, we came inside to warm up! The boys held their climb command perfectly! Never broke once! Great job boys!!!
Boomer and Duke have been working hard these past few days transitioning to off leash training. They’re pretty excited to show off their hard work! Loose leash walking is still a little awkward, but not too shabby for 6 month old babies! So proud of these boys! Duke still has some stubborn tendencies with his down, so hopefully we can conquer that in the next few days!
Boomer did an excellent job on his loose leash walking!!
Boomer is coming out of his shell, and finally starting to explore. He was a Velcro dog there for awhile! I had to take off running to get away from him to even work on come! 🤣
Duke did a great job on his loose leash walking! There were a few times he’d step in front of me, and we’d stumble, but he’s definitely come a long way!! Way to go, Duke!!
Duke is doing so well on his come command! I guess he was too tired to sit, and down just sounded better!
