Our farm has two openings for boarding. Our horses prefer to stay outside but each horse has their own stall for inclement weather. All of our boarders are self care however, help with evening feeding can be arranged. Call or message me (Vicki) to schedule a visit.

Spent the weekend at a Mark Rashid clinic. Great time learning from an amazing horseman!!! Yes we stuck it out in FREEZING temperatures!!! 🥶

I’m so late posting the pictures from summer camp. Just after camp one of our horses got sick and my life became immersed in her care. Summer Camp was AMAZING!! We had incredible campers, dedicated volunteers, and willing horses! Thank you everyone for making camp THE BEST!!!

We’ve been working so hard getting ready for camp. I thought a little fun was in order. Took the horses on a hike. We had so much fun! We just might make this part of camp!

Summer is coming to an end (schedule wise) and I just wanted to post an update. Camp was a BLAST and kids are still coming out to enjoy the horses learning basic horsemanship. Dina continues to be the star of the show teaching all the kiddos what it looks like to have a horse that is calm, connected, confident and communicating. I couldn't do it without her. Even the itty, bitty ones are enjoying her.

Scarlett is learning to be a partner. She has made some HUGE changes this summer. Instead of resorting to fear and being skeptical of everything I'm asking of her, she is now starting to ask me questions back with her body language, she's happy and building confidence as she gets "right answers." She will be a great partner one day. She is very brave and so beautiful. I am very proud of her.

Robin is so much fun and willing. She is VERY unconfident but very dominant. It's an interesting combination. With a strong leader she willingly follows and does amazing things. With a poor leadership she takes over. She's interesting and SO MUCH FUN!!! Whoever adopts this little horse will be so lucky!!!!

Getting barns, arena and horses ready for camp. Today we worked with the horses mostly. The most amazing thing to me is the language you are creating with the horses. It's so interesting to see the changes in the human and the horse once a dialog is created. Even watching my own daughter ask more politely, waiting for a response and then really rewarding (even getting excited for the horse over the right answer). I literally watched her (my daughter) change, I saw a softness overtake her and the horse REALLY REALLY try for her. This goes WAY beyond horses. It's just learning how to interact with others differently. To consider the other being.....to try another way to communicate other than brace or force. I didn't get a picture of Lindy working with Dave, I just watched from a far and took it all in. A friend came to work with Smokey who is looking calm, relaxed and confident and to help get the barn classroom ready! SO thankful for helpers. :)

She's here!!! Meet Robin! She is a rescue horse from "Save the Horses" who will be spending the summer with us! Coming to our farm will allow her to get much more hands on training and experiences. Our goal is to work with her often, give her loads of opportunities to meet kids and to get her trained and ready for her one day forever home. We are so excited for this journey!!!
