Southern Legacy German Shepherds

Breeding large old fashioned German Shepherds for health, temperament and size for families. All dog All dogs are raised and live in my home.

I breed Large Old Fashioned straight backed ,Quality German Shepherds. I do not have kennels. I have the privilege of being able to breed some exceptional dogs. I only have 2 or 3 litters a year., allowing me to focus on Health, Temperament & size ! All my dogs are OFA'd and DM tested. And only dogs with exceptional temperaments are bred. All puppies will have medium to low drive and are suitable

for families, Very trainable, No high drive or working lines. And finally, I am focused on size... I prefer the big, old fashioned, straight back, German Shepherds like the ones I grew up with. These dogs will be outside of the breed standard as far as size and weight, but remain balanced and healthy. All puppies are sold with limited AKC registration. I offer health & temperament guarantees on all pups as I am being very careful to only breed healthy, well balanced dogs. This is a hard post, but I am considering rehoming Jesse James to the right home. He is 6 yrs old, house broken , leash trained, UTD on shots & rabies. He was recently neutered and gastropexied.
The perfect home would have No male dogs and no cats. A fenced yard is a must.
I will be very picky about where he goes. Rehoming fee.
