"I have been with Carolina Cat for 7 months.”

2️⃣ What is the best part of your job?
"Getting to tear something that's lived a good life all the way down to its core and build it back up and give it a new life. I don't think there's a cooler job."

3️⃣ Why Carolina Cat?
"The reason I stay here is the people. Someone is always looking out for you, wanting you to be better every day. The reason I came here is to do what I have wanted to be doing since I was a kid, which is working on the big machines, which is what I am doing now.

We are excited to announce the fourth generation of family leadership, as Amanda Weisiger Cornelson has been promoted to President of Carolina Cat parent company, Weisiger Group, effective immediately.

Former President Ed Weisiger Jr. will continue as Chair of the Board, mentoring and supporting Amanda as we move forward. As we transition ownership, Weisiger Group will become one of the Southeast's largest privately held women-owned businesses—a milestone we celebrate with great pride.

With our 100th anniversary approaching next year, this marks an exciting new chapter for our company, our team, and the customers we serve.
