Almost every day an animal breathes a sigh of relief because it has been rescued by HSUC.
We have been busy! All of these adorable puppies were adopted in the last couple weeks. We are so happy for them and all the wonderful families they went home with. We still have 18 puppies with 2 litters that will be ready in a few weeks so keep an eye out for more information.
Mickey and Minnie are looking for their forever home. Birthday 3/21/23. They are playful, smart, and friendly. They are also good with small/medium sized dogs. Mickey loves to play with the small dog in his foster home. Mickey does have some skin allergies we are treating and Minnie has feline herpes (which really only gives her a runny eye from time to time).

Coal is a 3-year-old pitbull who weighs about 65 pounds. He’s super friendly to people and wants to be the center of attention. He can be reactive to other dogs and cats so he needs to be an only pet. Also, no small children because he can be a bouncy boy sometimes.
He’ll make a great companion for the right family, and he’s available to foster or adopt. Coal had an adoption pending a few weeks ago, but it fell through due to an unexpected life change. Let’s give this guy a new chance!

This is Numsea, formerly Oliver from Junipers litter. He is going to be surrendered back to us due to a tragic event in his family. He is a boxer mix that just turned a year old. He still has lots of puppy energy and needs a fenced yard to play and run. We are in need of a foster or adopter that can take him in asap! He gets along with dogs and cats and is friendly with people. Please consider taking this sweet boy into your home!
Dave is available for adoption. He is special needs: Dave is blind, but gets around his foster home great. He is 4 years old. Dave loves to play, is very social, affectionate and sweet. And then there were Four! We have 4 adorable puppies left from Dolly's litter. They are 8 weeks old today and ready for their forever homes. We are so excited for Jack and Zero! They were dumped at our facility in the middle of the night many months ago and are still with us. We are finally able to put them through some basic training with the help of STORM K9 University ! Please join us and watch their transformation.

Robin and Ian, we’re truly honored you visited our adoption center today. We hope you loved our new fence as much as we do! THANK YOU for funding that new fence through a generous grant from your Giving With Grace Foundation.
A new fence was on our wishlist for so long, and due to cost, it remained a wish. Until now. Your $25,000 grant enabled us to enclose our entire facility and yard area with a 6-foot privacy fence and locking gate, keeping our animals and adoption events safer, calmer and more secure.
We are beyond grateful for your past and ongoing support Robin, Jack and Ian, and you’ll forever have our gratitude. You were right, Ian. We absolutely needed a new fence, and we thank you so much for making that happen!

Special needs:
Mickey and Minnie are a great brother and sister pair of cats. Birthday 3/21/23
Minnie loves to play with toy mice. She plays fetch with them. Minnie also loves to be held and cuddled.
Mickey prefers moving feathers and toys on strings. He can jump pretty high to catch the bait. He is more laid back than Minnie and loves to snuggle with you, on his terms of course.
These siblings are best of friends. They groom each other and are always together.
They do fine with a small dogs.
* Mickey does have a skin allergy we are treating and Minnie is positive for feline herpes (this mainly causes her to have a watery eye when she has a flare up).
