*Adoption pending*

On April 4, 2023, a client called in tears because she saw a dog laying on the side of 165 near Sonic. Come to find out, the workers saw her laying there all day. She had been hit by a car and laid there waiting for someone to help her. Our client has done just that. We were unable to locate her owners, so our client took responsibility for this sweet, pitiful girl and has paid for her surgery and her healing to stay here with us. She had her rear left leg amputated. She is heartworm negative. She will need to be spayed, though. We estimate her to be around a year old. She absolutely loves children and is such a good girl. She does not seemed bothered by other dogs of cats. She is getting around wonderfully on 3 legs. Our girl, Sonic, is now ready for her forever family. If you would be interested in meeting her, please call 318-361-9395 to set up a time to come love on the most grateful, energetic, and loving pup! Vet references will be required to adopt our girl because we want her to have the best family she deserves.

***UPDATE*** Baby Boo and Maggie May are doing wonderful in their new home! Thank you for all the shares.

Baby Boo and Maggie May are siblings looking for a home together due to unfortunate circumstances. They are 8 & 1/2 years old, spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccinations, house and kennel trained.

We have had the privilege of taking care of sweet Ruthie while her family is away at St Jude.
Ruthie’s birthday is this weekend, so we celebrated her BIG!
Her family sent toys, we made her some special banana pupcakes, sang Happy Birthday and celebrated for her big day!

COVID-19 UPDATE: We are open!
Starting October 4, we will be allowing clients to accompany their pets for regular veterinary appointments!
However, the virus is still a concern, so we will ask that you wear a mask when inside the building.
Curbside & Patient drop off is still available upon request for clients who feel more comfortable staying in their cars.
We thank you for your tremendous support and understanding as we continue to navigate the pandemic and evolve our processes to ensure we are providing the best care for you and your pets!

For the remainder of the week, we will only be available for emergencies from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

We hope to resume our normal curb-side hours on August 16. Thank you for being patient and understanding during this time.

Due to a Covid-19 exposure, we will have a very limited staff this week. Because of that, we are limiting our appointments to only drop offs. We are continuing curbside service but ask that if your pet needs to be seen by a veterinarian this week, that you please make arrangements to drop them off for a few hours.

Please have patience with us as our staff does our best to tend to all pets in our care. We hope to be back to regular curbside appointments soon!

We ask that you help us keep our staff safe and healthy. Please do your part by notifying us if you're not feeling well or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, congestion, runny nose, etc).

We thank each and every one of you for your support as the COVID-19 pandemic continues on. We’re all in this together!
