🐾 Meet Our Newest Clinic Kitties! 🐾

We are thrilled to introduce our two adorable new residents, Chappell and Ron Weasley! These playful siblings have made themselves right at home here at Harmony Animal Wellness Center, and we couldn’t be happier to have them as part of our family. 🐱❤️

Ron is a curious little explorer who loves to chase after toys and climb to the highest spots. 🧗‍♂️ Chappell, on the other hand, is a cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling up in cozy spots and purring away. 💤

We can’t wait for you to meet them! 🥰

A quick ANNOUNCEMENT for this next week. IT WILL BE AN ABBREVIATED WEEK. DR. FRANK WILL BE OUT OF TOWN.

We will be CLOSED Monday, the 6th, and Friday, the 10th.
The 7th of May, Dr. O'Brien will be in for her regular Tuesday, and Wednesday/Thursday (7th-8th) we will have a Relief Vet in.

Please beware that medication requests will be limited during this time. Food pick up and food orders will be unaffected. Dr. Frank will be returning to the clinic on the 13th and we will return to our normal schedule at that time. We thank you for your patience during this time.

National Poison Prevention Month raises awareness of poison prevention nationwide during the month of March. This month is great time to highlight the dangers of poisonings for our pets.

Some poisons include:

Just a reminder that we will be closing Wednesday, the 20th, through Monday, the 25th for the holidays. We will be reopening Tuesday the 26th.
Please make it a priority to order any food and/or medications before we are closed for the season as we will not be able to fill requests till after the 25th.

Many of you have asked about Dylan’s new addition to his family; his baby girl due at the end of January. So we thought we would share an edited post from his own page that has more information.

I hope this message finds you wrapped in warmth and happiness. Today, I’m reaching out with a heart full of joy, gratitude, and a hint of happy tears. Our lives have been touched by a little miracle, her name is Olivia and she’s due January 27,2024.

As I sit here reflecting on the past decade, my heart swells with appreciation for each of you. Your unwavering support, trust, and kindness have not only shaped my professional journey but have become a cherished part of my life’s tapestry. The milestones we’ve celebrated together are etched in my memory, and I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible community to share them with.

Now as Brianna and I embark on this extraordinary adventure of parenthood, I am reminded of the depth of love and connection we’ve cultivated over the years. Our hearts are overflowing with excitement and gratitude as we welcome Olivia into our family.

I wanted to let everyone know that Friday June 30th we will be closing at 5pm, and will not be returning until Wednesday July 5th; at our regular business hours. Please call in any medication/food you will need before our 4 day weekend. Please be safe and have a fun holiday

Hello!

This month marks Dylan's 9th year of working at Harmony Animal Wellness Center. He has been a full time employee here for almost one-third of his life. We have seen him grow from a young'en to a married man in that time. No one gets more requests to have him be their pet's nurse than him.

So in celebration of his anniversary, we would like you to share with him your stories/kudos of how he makes you and your furbabies feel when here. He is one in a million and we want his month to be special.

Hello Friends!

Today is National Siamese Cat Day! So we are celebrating Dr. Frank's cat, Fitzwilliam, aka Fitzy aka Kit Cat.

A little Siamese Cat Knowledge:
1. Siamese Cats are one of the oldest cat breeds. They originated in Asia 700 years ago!
2. Siamese Cat coats are affected by temperature. They are born white and they start developing markings around 4 weeks old! Their torso is usually lighter due to the higher temperatures and the dark parks are caused by colder temperatures.
3. They have difficulty seeing in the dark, and that is because the pigment in their blue eyes makes it so they have much weaker eyesight than other felines.
4. The earliest known American owner of a Siamese cat was Rutherford B Haye’s wife. In 1879 the Siamese cat was brought over by President Haye’s Wife. It took 2 months for the Cat to arrive in America
5. Siamese Cats were once Royal pets. They were treasured by royal families in Thailand because of their distinctive, unusual, and attractive appearance.

Siamese Cat Day was created to bring awareness to all of the Siamese and other Felines in shelters. The hope was to encourage more people to go out and adopt these beautiful kitties from the shelters. Unfortunately, over two million animals are euthanized at animal shelters each year. Remember, Adopt, don't shop!

The month of April holds many Veterinary Awarenesses. Two of them are Heartworm Awareness & Lyme Prevention. Heartworm and Lymes disease can be very fatal without the proper knowledge. When it rains it pours🌧...

With Dylan being out of town on vacation, and now two of our staff members testing positive for covid we will being having to close the clinic immediately.

We are so sorry for any inconvenience this causes anyone, but with 3 people being down that is 60% of our staff.

You can email us, we will be checking it periodically, but we will not be answering voicemails or making appointments until next week.
