You may not be able to give Kermit blankets, however, you can absolutely give him his forever home.
Kermit is a part of the 10 Lives Program, an initiative designed to give cats the chance at a loving forever home, regardless of health challenges! Our innovative program covers medical expenses for specially selected cats, so you can enjoy the love of a furry friend like Kermit worry-free! Plus, by adopting, you're making room for more cats in need.
Kermit is a 6-month-old, neutered male with a loving and playful personality! This handsome domestic shorthair brown tabby boasts beautiful patterning all over his body.
Kermit has Manx Syndrome, a genetic condition affecting his spinal cord development, and is currently on medication to manage his health. Despite this challenge, Kermit is full of life and energy!
He absolutely adores human visitors and craves your attention. Kermit is a one-man show, preferring to be the only cat in the household. He’s energetic, very vocal, and will make sure you never feel lonely!
Super true. Very factual. #AdoptACatMonth #meow
There's nothing wrong with having a bestie 👯♂️
Happy Memorial Day from River Cities Humane Society for Cats!

Kittens are always popular, but we have lots of big "kittens" looking for their fur-ever homes too. Our adult rooms are full of fabulous felines who would love to be your new snuggle buddy. While we have adult cats ranging in age from 1 to 14 years old, most of them are only 1 to 3 years old and still full of energy. As you can see, they are very friendly (and treat motivated!). If you're looking for a bff (best furry friend) who isn't as rambunctious or destructive as a kitten, please consider one of our adult cats!
Love cats but can't adopt? We also welcome visitors who just want to sit and play with the kitties. Whether you want to play with them, brush them, or just feed them treats; our kitties would love the extra attention!
