Wheels has come so far out of his shell! It is amazing to see what a happy, sassy boy he is! He barks happily and bounces at our feet excitedly now!

He stands on his back leg to drink water! He is slowly progressing towards being able to walk again!

He finds joy everywhere he looks, and it's an amazing reminder to stop and take a breath and enjoy just a moment of peace!

I am absolutely overwhelmed by our communities' overwhelming support for our babies!! They aren't just my babies they everyone's babies, and I can not thank whoever made this possible enough!

This week has been a very hard week for me and my family, and your generosity has been humbling and beyond amazing!

Whoever our anonymous donor was, I can not say thank you enough! You made what was a horrible and quite frankly devastating week turn into one of the brightest days! Thank you from the bottom of my soul for this!!

Also, a huge shout out to and Ron Berry for coming to help me get this all loaded up and in!! Also, to Melvin Matthews and Rara Matthews for offering to drive over 45 mins one way to help with this!!

My heart is overflowing right now, and I know I am beyond blessed even on the darkest days because there are amazing people like this in my life!

Our communities support is vital to our dogs, and although they can not say thank you, I can!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

With all my love,
Terri Matthews

Well we had quite the adventure this weekend! A sweet Moma dog came out of the thick woods surrounding our walking area to ask Alea Berry, one of our very dedicated ULM P-40 Underdogs Volunteers, for help!

This poor mom, who we later named Cleopatra, was extremely emaciated, heavy with milk, and covered with ticks!!

We immediately started searching the woods for her babies! Christine Berry , Alea Berry, Stephen Hill and I searched the woods! After finding snakes, spiders, ticks and a lot of briar bushes Cleopatra finally led Alea and Christine to her 9 babies!!!!

She had them buried deep in a briar patch trying desperately to keep them as safe as possible!

Cleopatra and her babies are now safe with an amazing foster mom who will be loving and caring for them until they are all ready for adoption!

If you would like to help Cleopatra and her babies you can send items off our New Mom Wishlist and we will get them directly to her foster mom!

Thank you for your continued support! Your donations help save dogs and puppies like Cleo and her babies!
