I can't stress the importance of heartworm prevention enough! Heart worms left untreated are deadly!

Sadly I tested 11 dogs today and 8 of them were heart worm positive. It will be months of treatment and thousands of dollars to get these heart worm positive dogs healthy.

Prevention is key and saves lives!

The Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe will be CLOSED Thursday Thanksgiving Day & 29th So our dedicated staff can enjoy time with family.

We will be OPEN November 30 during regular hours.

Hobo said Moma Terri that big Ole treat you gave me sure was good.. can I have another one?!?!

This sweet boy is all innocent eyes and has the best begging face there is! He is a happy go lucky 10-12 week old shepherd/hound mix that is a giant dough ball just waiting to melt into your lap for a nap after some play time!
