Get ready! Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2nd! 🗓️

This year, the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe has set a goal to raise $5,000 to support the animals in our care. These funds are critical for providing food, shelter, and medical attention to the pets waiting for their forever homes.

A member of the HSAC family is tieing the knot this Saturday 11-15-25. We will be closed so that we can attend the wedding ceremony. Thank you for understanding the importance of this event and we will resume our regular hours of operation on Tuesday. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!

Not everyone is in a position to adopt or foster right now, but you can still change a life.

If you can't give a dog a home, buy a dog a home! 🐶

We need sturdy houses to keep our dogs warm and protected. You can find great options at Tractor Supply, Wal-Mart, Chewy.com, or Amazon.

We want to give a massive THANK YOU to the incredible team from Rougarou Hockey for volunteering their time with us! 🏒🐾

These amazing guys spent the day giving our dogs some much-deserved extra attention and long walks. Getting out of the kennel for this kind of quality time is vital enrichment for our shelter pups. Not only is the exercise fantastic for their health, but the new sights, smells, and social interaction do wonders for their stress levels and overall happiness.

The Rougarou team was absolutely stellar—compassionate, energetic, and ready to jump right in to help our furry residents.

Thank you for being such tremendous community partners and for making sure our dogs had a winning day! 🏆🐶

As the weather gets colder, we want to make sure every dog at the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe stays warm and cozy while they wait for their forever homes.

We are currently in need of blanket donations! 🐾

If you have any new or gently used blankets (fleece throws are always a favorite!) that you can spare, our pups would be so grateful. A soft blanket makes a kennel feel much more like a home.

How you can help: 🏠 Donate: Drop offs can be made at the shelter directly, Lamar Outdoor Advertising, or McClendon Veterinary Clinic. 📢 Spread the Word: Please SHARE this post! A simple share helps us reach more people and keeps more pups warm.

A HUGE thank you to the incredible team from Lumen Technologies for spending their day with us at the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe! 🐾💙

Not only did this hardworking group volunteer their time to help us around the shelter (as you can see in these great photos!), but they also surprised us with a generous $500 grant to help our animals!

We are so grateful for community partners like Lumen who step up to help us keep our tails wagging. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of our shelter pets while they wait for their forever homes.
