Miss Bee, our first goat here on the farm has passed away this morning! She was an old girl and lived a pretty good life here on the farm! We will miss her very distinctive “Baa/Bleat” that she would make every time we walked out of the house! Rest easy sweet Bee!

I really didn’t want to post about this, but several folks have been asking about Samson! Over the summer we lost our big guy (appropriately named Samson) to cancer! He was an awesome horse and lived to be nearly 30years old! His health had been declining, he was loosing weight, and after several vet visits, we finally had a diagnosis. He was sometimes better than a watch dog. If something strange to him was going on, he would stand so tall, body, head, and ears pointing at the problem (as you can see in the forth picture)! He would then snort so load, it sounded like a gun shot! Most of the time it was deer, one time wild turkeys, and an occasional coyote! We do miss him around here, but know he’s grazing in greener pastures!

Finally got around to putting water in the barn! The garden hose across the yard won’t be missed!
