Help us wish a happy birthday to our very own Dr. Sydney Copeland! If she has cared for one of your pets, you know that her compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing top quality medicine is unmatched. We are so thankful for her and the opportunity to celebrate her tonight!

We are so excited to announce that Dr. Bethany Bailey has joined the Premier team! She will be joining us full-time, alongside Dr. Stokes and Dr. Copeland, to aid in emergency care for your beloved pets. We cannot wait for this new journey with her by our side!

Dr. Bethany Bailey was born and raised in Minden, Louisiana. She received her BS in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University. In 2015, she graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

She has spent the majority of her career in general practice working with dogs and cats. Early in her career, she also completed a fellowship in Shelter Medicine at LSU.
She moved to Ruston in 2017 and has planted roots there with her husband Colin.
She joined the Premier Pet Emergency team in 2025.

She enjoys many aspects of veterinary care, but finds the most joy in helping pet parents understand their pet’s medical conditions and supporting them through providing the care that is needed.

When she isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children and traveling any chance she gets. She has numerous dogs and cats at home to love.
