The veterinary field, as with many others, is struggling to keep up with substantial inflation. The cost of the supplies we use, as well as the cost of the preventative products that we offer to the public, have skyrocketed in the last several years. We are now faced with no choice in order to remain operational - a price increase for select services and preventatives will take effect on May 1st. Any appointments currently being scheduled for May will be booked with this new pricing. We want each and every client to know that we will always remain committed to providing the best care possible for your pets at the best possible cost to you, and that we greatly appreciate your continued business and understanding in this matter. The Monroe Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic is excited to announce a new heartworm preventative option!

By April, we will start offering the ProHeart 12-month injection for adult dogs. This is an injectable preventative option that lasts a full 12 months, eliminating the need for a monthly tablet or topical product to prevent heartworms. Your dog must be at least 12 months of age to qualify, and we do require a negative in-house heartworm test the day they receive the injection. Pricing for the injection will be dependent on your dog's weight.

The Monroe Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic is busier than ever!

The receptionists here receive anywhere between 200 to 600 calls per day, so we completely understand that sometimes it can be difficult to reach us on the phone right away. To help reduce your call time, or your time on hold, we have created an online appointment request form.

If you are interested in scheduling a wellness or surgical appointment with us, you can now submit a request that includes all of your information as well as your preferred days for the appointment. We will receive and respond to the request within 24 business hours, eliminating the need to call in and wait on hold.

Please note that we require prepayment depending on the type of appointment requested, so you will be required to provide payment information if you proceed with scheduling once you are contacted by our office.
