Make sure your dog is truly ring ready before asking him to perform in the show ring. Whether your dog is not ready emotionally, isn't okay with other dogs or is going through an "ugly stage", he isn't going to be competitive and showing him is probably not going to be very much fun.

We owe it to our dogs to make sure that they are ready if we want them to be successful.
