Veterinary technician is also an anaesthetist, a surgical assistant, fracture nurse, phlebotomist, lab technician, radiographer, infection control officer, paramedic, administrator, counsellor, nutritionist, teacher, friend, cuddle buddy and much, much more. And no matter what they say, they do take their work home with them and are always thinking of the patients in their care. Thank goodness for Vet Techs!! We simply could not do this job without them!

If you're from Atlanta, you might know Bert Weiss from The Bert Show. Despite not being a native Georgian, he's always had a soft spot for bulldogs. When he first brought home his bulldog, Riggins, he didn't realize the significance of "Uga" in Georgia until people started enthusiastically shouting it at his dog.

🐾 Riggins loved tug-of-war, chasing laser beams, and, like any bulldog — snoozing. When Riggins got sick, Bert went to the airwaves to share his struggle after multiple vets couldn't make a diagnosis.

This led to an outpouring of messages urging him to visit University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Thankfully he did, and found they treated Riggins with unparalleled care and compassion.

"The vets, staff, and students treated Riggins like they’d known him since he was a puppy. They were informative and sensitive. I think it hurt the vet as much as it did me to hear that his condition wasn’t fixable, but they were amazing at explaining to me exactly what the problem was and what my options were. One of the most difficult times in your life will be watching your dog get sick, but the vets and staff there made me feel as secure and comfortable as I possibly could.”

The friend put an invisible petsafe fence collar on PICKLES but PICKLES ran through the invisible fence and is now LOST in MONROE GA!!! She brings so much knowledge and loving care every time she walking into the doors here at Bold Springs!! **Bold Springs/Carl Davis Rd*** our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ranger, is missing from Apalachee Ridge/Carl Davis road. We’re out of town and have a friend staying at our house. He was able to get out of our fence. He doesn’t current have his collar on, he’s very friendly. Call, text or message me if you see him. 770-714-0524. Please help us bring him back home!

LOST DOG BOLD SPRINGS AT THE ROUNDABOUT!!!!

My boy pepper has been missing since yesterday afternoon. We live in Monroe by the hwy 81 and bold springs roundabout. Hes a black lab mix, he has on a green collar but his dog tag got ripped off when he climbed the fence. If anyone has any info please contact me 678 448 8224
