🇺🇸 As a reminder, our office will be CLOSED on Tuesday, July 4th, in honor of Independence Day. 🇺🇸
Reminders to our pet parents:
❤️ 1) Consider keeping your pets at home while you are at parties, fireworks, parades, or other events. Loud fireworks, large crowds, and unfamiliar places can be scary and stressful to pets. If you bring your pets to these gatherings, please ensure they wear ID tags and that their microchips are registered and up-to-date.
🤍 2) Keep alcohol out of reach! Ingestion of alcoholic beverages can be toxic to your furry friend. Signs of alcohol poisoning include staggering, decreased reflexes, and excessive urination.
💙 3) Avoid feeding your pets table scraps or foods that aren't a regular part of your pet's diet. High-fat foods can lead to pancreatitis, causing vomiting and diarrhea. Additionally, many foods, such as those containing garlic or onions, are toxic to our pets. Ensure trash is out of reach, and remind visitors not to give any treats!
❤️ 4) Keep sparklers, fireworks, glow sticks, kabob skewers, and all potentially dangerous items away from curious pets. Additionally, do not let pets near the grill while in use or when it is hot.
