Regardless where I am grooming, I take time to understand your pets likes and dislikes, take a gentle approach with your pet and are transparent with clients. My moto will always be humanity over vanity. I pride myself on providing the best experience possible for you and your pet so you want to come back to see me.
I will not tolerate threats of any kind because I refuse to work on your pet due to their aggressive behavior. Plan and simple.
You’re responsible for the way your pet behaves and I will not be a chew toy for a dog that hasn’t been groomed in over year.
Take advise from a professional and work with your dog to help them overcome their aggressive tendencies or take them to a behavioral trainer.
And please show up on time.

I have a former client who rescued and temporarily fostering these adorable babies.
Both are females.
Picked up as strays, no collar, no chips.
The Yorkie is approx. 5-8 lbs and the Doodle is approx. 80 lbs.
They're both great with other dogs and little kids.
The Doodle is a little timid, but very sweet. She thinks she's a lap dog and follows her foster everywhere. They both seem to be house trained, so far.
No rehoming fee as long as I personally know the interested party and she can meet them halfway between Evansville and the Indy area.

If your pet needs to be on Trazadone for a grooming session, please let your groomer know. It can end up very bad for the dog and the groomer without being transparent about your pets behavioral issues.
If your dog bites me, they will be dismissed and returned home.
I have been grooming for many years and expect full transparency between client and myself.
It is not fair to either of us.

Luna in her beautiful doodle cut with a 4F a/o, 1/2 on TBH with hand scissored legs and muzzle. Sometimes puppy coats are difficult to style but I feel proud of this one. She has a Luna approved trachea snack as a reward for hours of work.

With February being the month of love we’d love to share some exciting news!!
We are restructuring our business in 2024. This means that we like what we’ve done since we established in October 2021 but we’d love to make improvements for 2024 and beyond.
With that being said we’re very proud to bring Sam Merideth on as our
Head Grooming Stylist. Sam comes to us transferring from Evansville.
About Sam-
“I was born and raised in Evansville, IN and started my grooming adventure in September of 2019 and worked up to a Lead Groomer position. I have attended numerous grooming conventions and continuing education seminars in addition to becoming a certified skin aesthetician, Certificate of Completion with the IV San Bernard USA in May of 2021, canine massage therapy, certification, and so many more. I have three dogs who I enjoy going on adventures with. My passion is to provide a safe environment and offer a relaxing spa day for your furry friends!"
Tristen Catellier a Monrovia alumni offers years of customer service and animal care and is pursuing her degree.
We are excited to implement improvements and changes while remaining steadfast in providing a healthy, safe and professional environment for your pets care.

DEAR CLIENTS

Some of you may have heard that I will be relocating to the Indy area in March. This is true!
I am looking forward to the move, however, I am deeply saddened that I can not take you all with me. You have no idea what you mean to me.
I am continuing to schedule clients with my last day being February 29th. If you have yet to make an appointment, I encourage you to do so asap. I am booking for mid March so there is limited availability.
I had added Richie Estes to the PFC Grooming Department as a part time pet stylist and am so thankful for him. He has taken on a lot since hiring him and I’m forever grateful for his support and patience. Richie is booking for February and taking new clients! You will be very pleased working with him as he and I seem to handle clients and their pets very similarly.

Speaking of clients, while I will be cutting my hours significantly, I will be continuing to work 2 days a week to accommodate the clients I have had since the begin of my PFC career.

I have known Brenda for 4 years and was her pet groomer for 4 of her 7 dogs. She was a powerhouse with a heart of gold. It takes a caring and strong person to make it her life’s mission to rescuing pets. Brenda will be greatly missed. If you ever had the opportunity to meet Brenda, consider yourself lucky.

Hi!
I have returned to work after a wonderful 2 week vacation. I can not wait to see all my clients and get back to work!

CHANGES:
1. All $42 grooms in 2023 are now increased to $45.
2. 2024 will bring a lot of changes, both professionally and personally.
3. My schedule will be a little different than the last 4 years so I ask you to please plan accordingly and keep your pet on a consistent schedule. I understand this means I will not be able to accommodate to everyone’s schedule and I do apologize for that.
4. I am not taking new clients and am placing clients on my waiting list.
5. I am currently booking for March for ALL SERVICES, including nail trims. Nail clinics will still continue twice a month.
6. I have been very lenient on the amount of no call no shows, cancellations made less than 48hrs in advance and late shows. If you no show, you will be charged a fee of $25 and that fee will need to be paid before rescheduling. If you cancel without a 48 hour notice, you will be charged $15 and that fee will also need to be paid before rescheduling.
7. I also ask that pick ups are immediate (no longer than 20 minutes after you have been notified that your pet is ready for pick up). We work in one work with your pet. The groom salon is very small, space is limited, kennel space is limited and we need all the space we can get. This is also the safest method for your pet as not all dogs/cats are social with other dogs. I appreciate your understanding and help to keep me on schedule and able to get your pets in for their pampering session.
8. I am welcoming a new part time groomer to the North side salon, starting next week. More details to come! Please watch the PFC page for more information.
9. I am working hard to respond to all my messages and I ask for your patience.
