While the story of Ace begins long ago, we share our small part of his journey while he has made his home at TNS.

Ace is the kind of horse that puts a smile on your face every day. No matter what kind of day youโ€™re having once when you swing a leg over him, everything goes away. He truly is like riding a Cadillac. He effortlessly has one of the smoothest jogs youโ€™ll ever ride. Even though Ace has only been with us 15 months heโ€™s quickly turned into a barn favorite. At 18 years old, he still shows up for work every day and is happy to do it. He even had us fooled because if you donโ€™t work him every day at a horse show, he will miraculously forget how to flat walk.

Last year, Travis decided to take him in the East Coast Open Western Pleasure Championship at New England Morgan Horse Show and pinned top three among a world class group of Morgans. He then continued his season by taking Olga Robinson to a Top 10 award at Morgan Grand National. Over the years Ace has amassed a massive fan club, so having him at a show is like being with a celebrity. Everyone loves to watch this beautiful black stallion jog through the in gate and he never disappoints. Ace is turning 19 this year and is of course allowed to retire whenever he tells us heโ€™s done, but he keeps telling us he isnโ€™t ready quite yet.

The only thing more wonderful than having a horse of this caliber in your barn is having the owner that is willing to do absolutely anything for their horse. Ace is certainly a once in a lifetime horse, but so is having an owner like Alice Nazzaro. No horse is more deserving of this award and every day we are honored that Ace makes his home at Travis Neidlinger Stables.
