Halloween is here! This can be a perilous time for our pets between all the commotion, people looking different in costumes, and of course, CANDY. Don't let your critters get into your supply, chocolate is toxic as is any candy with xylitol (chewing gums will often contain this, as well as sugar-free candies.)

This pup is cutie pie Howie aka Sir Howard Oliver Rathbone who is a Mini Australian Shepherd. He says, “I dunno why I am here but I sure do like treats!” Special fact about Howie (aside from how cute he is): his mama has helped him lose about 20 pounds since she adopted him! Good job, mom! Howie told us he feels a lot more comfortable now :)
