Here is our beautiful, sweet Charlotte-she is more than ready to land in a great forever home 💕🐾🥰
At under 40 lbs. she is the total package - she’s good with other dogs, loved and lived with young kids, just needs a couch or bed and a chew toy and a lap to cuddle up in!

Our sweet boy Maui likes to visit his friends at the business next door to us. Kimberly Shults, Marcia and Tyler come out to see him (and Charlotte) and give them great hugs and pets.
Maui doesn’t understand why they’re not there on weekends or holidays and today was no different!😂❤️
He’s still waiting for a great home…

A licensed veterinarian will administer the vaccinations.

Luke decided to introduce himself to my neighbor Terry and what a sweet interaction!❤️🐾

Happy National Dog Day!
We welcome beautiful senior Luke “the Come Back Kid” from Associated Humane Societies Newark into our rescue —

He had a very rough start and when we pulled him he was sick and unable to walk, no Interest In food .

His visit at our vet Indicated he was running a fever and bloodwork showed elevated liver enzymes and low red blood cell count. He had full body X-rays and then an ultrasound to rule out any possible masses. Thankfully none were revealed, but his spine is arthritic and there are changes happening.

He’s on meds for infection and pain management and now he’s feeling much better and Is just an amazing guy. Does not make a sound - very gentle, loves his meals that now include cooked chicken and broth as well as chews that he looks forward to crunching.
He enjoys relaxing, sleeping, cuddles and short walks.
What he really needs is a foster where there are no steps to have to get up and down.
We have video of him walking we will post as well.

He’s so easy and lovable!

One-of-a-kind pet houses created in an architecture competition will be displayed and auctioned off at a fun, dog-friendly, family event on October 4, 2025, on the beautiful lawn and in the multi-purpose room of Union Congregational Church in Upper Montclair, NJ. 100% of the profit will be donated to Rescue Haven Foundation in Caldwell, PAWS in Montclair, as well as Associated Humane Societies, based in Newark.

We are thrilled to announce the adoption of our Guapo, (fka Dallas)!!!
He will have a wonderful life with Farid Ricardo Alvarado and his cat Spikey.
Ricky had adopted Truffles from us about 12 years ago, and when she recently passed, Ricky and Spikey felt the house was too quiet!
Guapo is a great little guy who will give and get lots of love and joy!
