Thankfully, most cats are pretty easily (and inexpensively) entertained. Explore these 5 simple ways to enrich your cat's environment for FREE (or close to it):
1. TOY BOXES. Cut holes in empty pizza boxes and stick treats in the holes. Plastic milk crates make great kitty jungle gyms. Plastic storage tubs can make great cat condos. Old suitcases can make a perfect retreat for your kitty!
2. CHILD'S PLAY. Use recycled children's toys like bubbles and perpetual motion toys that will provide visual enrichment.
3. RECYCLED PAPER. Cats love paper bags, crumpled up paper, old scrap paper, wrapping paper, and empty paper towel rolls.
4. UP-CYCLE. Milk caps, wine corks, shower curtain rings, and carpet remnants make the perfect up-cycled toys!
5. CRAFTS. Pipe cleaners & paper fans, pompoms, cotton balls, and ribbons provide hours of free (or very inexpensive) entertainment.

This kitty came in comatose from eating a dead bird that had been put to sleep with toxic solution. We were not sure if kitty would make it but by the end of the day with intensive care he made a fantastic comeback! His family cried with happiness and so did we! #teamarrow

Xiolene's Dog Wheelchair
How awesome is this? Our amazing technician, Xiolene, made this cart for one of the dogs she pet sits. Her owner was in New York for the 9-11 remembrance and when she showed him this video he said "my day has been so difficult up until now" and he cried with happiness to see his little dog scuttling around without having to drag his hind legs for the first time!
