Wick is so easy to fall in love with ❤️ He is a staff favorite, great with meeting new people, walks well on a leash, and just has a gentle nature. His eyes and heart are amazing and he is going to be someone's good buddy and what a lucky human that will be ❤️
We think Wick might have been a working dog before he came to us. He circles the perimeter of the play yard, uninterested in toys (but loves to get pets and scratches 🥹), and likes to stay right by your leg if you are walking with him 🤎🐾 This guy is a special guy, checks in with you and is in tune with you, and just has all this HEART. And we got to see his zoomies, and they are AWESOME 😁
Wick is around 5 years young. This big guy (roughly between 60-65 lbs) would love a little room to stretch his legs and smell the grass 😊 He has NOT been happy about meeting other dogs so far, so we are going to say he needs to be your one and only animal in the home ❤️ It's a tough thing to say, we can only judge it based on what we see in kennel behavior which doesn't always tell the full story. But, we think it is what he needs 👌After he settles into a home and routine and shakes off the kennel, he could feel differently or he may not. His heart is so big and he's such a gooooood dog, your heart will be full with just him too ❤️
We thought Wick was a Pyrenees/Lab mix when he first came in, but now we are thinking he is an Akbash. Whatever his DNA is, we know this baby boy is a an awesome guy to have near 💙 Wick was found in an area where dogs are sometimes dumped... we cannot change what brought him here to us, but this boy deserves wayyyyyyy better than this
Desmond
When you love your bath, but maybe also hate your bath...it's just easy to take it out on the towel 😆 Desmond got cleaned up and lived to tell about it 😊
This scruffy giant of a doggo is allll love and happiness 😊 Desmond is 3 years old, and we think he does some body building in his spare time 💪 He made it to the vet to get neutered, and weighed in at 82 lbs! We have gone thru different guesses with his breed mix, leaning toward a large poodle mix now after talking with the vet. Maybe a Newfypoo? Or an Irish Woolfadoodle? Whatever our mystery man is, he is intelligent, happy, curious, friendly, and LOVES to play ❤️😊
Desmond seems like he could potentially be dog friendly 🐾 We think the stress of the shelter is masking that he actually likes other dogs. Let's feel it out with a meet and greet if you have any other doggos and see how they do 👍We would love to get him out of a kennel and with a good human who has room for him to run, so he can shake off the feeling of being caged in. Because of his large size, older children in the home would be better than little ones.
Desmond is such a happy, big guy but a yard will do him better than walks will 👍 This strong ol' guy views a leash like it's time to run out the gate 😆 and will need an experienced and strong 💪 adopter to get him back and forth to the vet or any outings that require a leash 👍 We have noticed he is food protective, we would recommend him being fed separately from any other doggos you have until they adjust 🐾

Precious & Rocko are bonded and awesome 😊 This happy, older married couple keep us smiling with their games, antics, and personalities ❤️ They need a loving home with a fenced yard, an adopter who loves GSD fur 😁 and rooooom to play! These big ol' bears are secretly hockey players under cover 🏒 Bowls and balls turn into championship games ☺️🏆 Precious is 8 and Rocko is 10, but they do not act 8 and 10 😆 They are both active, wiggly, happy, curious, and playful! They loooooove to play and ham it up! They love everyone... dogs, people, and kids... and each other 😊
This dynamic duo will need a secure fenced yard (they like to wander when they get bored) and would love a home with lots of love, affection, and play time! Precious loves to dig if she gets the chance, and Rocko loves to collect all the balls into a pile and keep them away from Precious 😁❤️ They are awesome doggos and they are buds ❤️ They need to be adopted together, their bond is too strong to separate them. Meet Gus! This beautiful staffie is an awesome guy, he just wants the love! He is gentle with all the humans he has met, and repsonds so well to affection and treats 🐾🐕 He has a HUGE heart, and truly just wants love...
...and he has some structure he will need in a home to keep him thriving 👍

🐾 He has some mission impossible 🥷 skills up his sleeve, lol. This boy was an acrobat in another life, and showed up in this one as a Stafforshire Bull Terrier, lol 😉

Joker is still looking for a great family! He got some practice this week playing with kiddos 🥰 Joker is a sweetheart and a cuddler! When we say sweetheart, we mean SWEETHEART 💕This 4 month old baby boy is the last of his litter! He is in tune with what's going on around him and so friendly with dogs and people. He is up for playing (his whole face lights up 🥹) but he is also an observant little guy, could be something he grows into more after he gets thru the puppy phase 💕
Joker is just a lovebug ❤️ He makes the saddest bath face 😆 and has done well in the car for us 🚗 He keeps you smiling with that growing, wiry, stumbling body of his... he's just a beautiful, happy, young guy and we want to find him a great family who loves him 😊 His breed mix is Pyrenees/Akbash and we expect him to be 60-70+ lbs full grown.

This beautiful hunk of a sweetheart is Tank! ❤️This happy guy is just over a year old and looking for a great home 👍 Tank loooovves to play. He is a very happy guy 😊 and really loving. We have seen a lot of affection out of this beautiful hippo, and we are here to tell you he is such a good boy!! ❤️❤️
Tank is a Mastiff/Staffie mix and he does well with new people, kids, cats and other dogs. Woo-hoo way to go Tank 🤗👍The fit needs to be a good one for all involved, so let's do a meet and greet with your dog/cat and see how they vibe 👌
Tank does great on the leash once he is away from all the shelter doggos! Hearing 20+ barking opinions about your walk can be a little dizzying and triggering, lol 🥸 But after all that noise is left behind, he loves to stretch his legs and enjoy the air and grass 🐾 He is such a good guy, just wants belly rubs and time to play, maybe a nap after a good run around the yard ❤️
His only exception for being the life of the party is he doesn't play about his food bowl. He must be fed separately, and bowl removed from once done eating. Otherwise he will go after any dog that comes near it, but cats and people are fine during meal time 🤷♀️ We don't know what started this, never experienced such a specific food aggression, but we all have our own quirks 😆 so Tank is sure allowed his!

"Jimothy Cricket is doing so good. He fit right in with his family with no trouble at all. He has learned how to sit, give paw, and is getting the hang of fetch as well. Every night he enjoys being tucked in, where he gets soft pets and a lullaby, singing of what a handsome strong boy he is. He loves this routine very much and it is the cutest thing ever because he must have his "hand" held during the process.
I just wanted to give you guys an update and say how much I appreciate the work you do. I can't believe he started out scared and skittish. Y'all do magic with these doggos and I am extremely grateful for your talents and dedication. Thank you!
