We lost a very special pony in December. He was one of the first horses to help us get started on our riding lesson, pony party program. Pippin thank you for being such a noble steed and a great pony for so many years! We will sure miss you!

Ajax- 5 Year old Appendix Gelding
Ajax is a 15 hand gelding that has been used at Lucky Shoe since he was 2 years old! He was a part of our c**t program where he acquired all of his ground work skills, lunging, backing, pivoting, side passing, yielding his hind end and front end, circle driving, c driving, sending, loading and unloading out of the trailer, and being led by the feet. As a 2 year old he was started under saddle where he established a solid foundation. He now has all of the buttons, can get the correct lead, collect, back, side pass, pivot, bend around your leg and more. He has been started on barrels, hauled to jack pots, started on poles, been in parades, carried flags, packed in the mountains, gone on trail rides, competed in 4H, and has started to learn English. He is willing to learn and is ready to be finished out in any area. Ajax is not a beginners horse as he is to fancy broke for a beginner. He would be better suited for an intermediate rider who is ready to push him to the next level. For more information reach out!
