Oliver eying my dessert out in public. I’m really gonna miss this guy! He went back home already to his owners. His 4 weeks of boarding and training showed much success!

Elliot came to us for training for 3 weeks. He was half Siberian Husky/half German Shepherd. He was a gentle wolf but liked to bite, scratch and jump up like a puppy. He didn’t know his own strength so his family B sent him to us for training.

Treats are overly used. Dogs are social creatures and social expectations or boundaries or expectations are enough to train any dog. Many mistakenly think that they need to have treats in hand or the dog needs to be hungry in order for them to learn or make progress but that’s certainly not true!

Great improvement with Lulu. She was is timid but we have been helping her get out of her shell the last 4 lessons. Such a nice session with these folks today!

Romy the Terrier is now starting his training! Today he learned how to play fetch! He is a foster dog and is currently in the process of looking for a new home. He is a great couch dog and loves to cuddle and be petted. If you know somebody that would like to adopt him please let me know.

Lesson 1: Don’t “baby talk” to your dogs. They won’t respect you or see you as a Stable, confident leader. High pitch talking will make them more excited/crazy! Either that or at the very least it will piss them off! Acting nuetral will keep them more calm.
