I searched all day for James, I ha Austin with drone recovery helping me, we searched with the drone 2 hrs after james disappeared and Austin came back again tonight, He searched as far as he could with his thermo drone, found possums and cats and a fox eating one of my Chukars, but no sign of James,
My heart is breaking, James is the face to my business, he is my savior and best friend, I will look for him everyday, hoping to see him peaking around the tree, This is the hardest day of my life, and I had my fair share of hard days, If you try and reach out to me I might be distant for a while,
This is worse than having them fall asleep in your arms, this is never getting the chance to say good bye,
If you drove by and picked him up, make sure your willing to offer the love he offers, if you decided to shoot him out of your stand, please send me his collars and remains he deserves to rest with his family, if you find him please please send him home!!!!

Another successful deer recovery tonight, about 350 yards not much blood ( droplets) Aspen didn’t take long to find it, a couple times she got off the track but found her way back on,

Hey did you know? The cost of birds went up with the cost of everything? Straight to the point kennels doesn’t charge more than the price they pay for birds, training bird dogs definitely isnt as cheap like it use to be, I remember paying $300 for 100 bobwhites quail, that price doubled, I remember paying $600 for 100 chukars !!! That price doubled plus, we won’t go to pheasants or ducks $$$$$ even a $1.50 feral pigeon goes between $5 and $10 per birds,
Don’t be upset with the trainer for the cost of birds, he isn’t the one raising the prices, this economy is raising the prices the government is raising the prices, the cost for feed and electricity is raising the price!!!!
We as dog trainers feel it more than you think, instead of using 300 birds to try and train a dog we fight to do it with 200 birds, the price of dog food went up, the cost for help raised up $150 more a week, but that part wasn’t assessed in your bill, but yet you get upset over the one thing us dog trainers have no control over,

It’s a very sad day here at straight to the point kennels, one of our dearest best friends past away yesterday to a heart attack, she was loved by every dog here, she raised the bar to being the best of the best, Kathy supported me and my kennels flawlessly, Kathy held my business higher than anyone, not only was she great with the dogs, she was great with me, she talked me off the ledge countless times,
Kathy was my dogs best friend, after suffering a brutal attack from a dog, she still loved every dog she encountered Gus was a special dog to Kathy,
Kathy and Tom went so far out of there way to help when they knew I was struggling, never asked for it r anything and felt insulted when I offered,
I feel honored and blessed to of had her and Tom in my life, and the void she left will always be felt, I definitely will miss her laugh and smile, but most importantly I will miss her love for all dogs,
I wish I could of told her in person how much I appreciated her, my condolences to Tom and Keegen and everyone who lost such a great person,
It took me all day to drift through the thought of never hearing her laugh again, tears were definitely shed from me and all of her best friends ( dog) here….
Taken to early but definitely never forgotten, my friend Kathy you will definitely be missed
