Our sweet Josie left for her new home and is getting all settled in. She has the most wonderful family and is in the best of care. We will miss her, but seeing the smile she brings to her new owner makes us so happy. Posted with permission from her new owners.

Sometimes amazing things happen when you’re least expecting them! We have loved this boy since we first met him when he arrived in the U.S. in fall of 2021-We are thrilled to welcome SD Tarzan to our RG family! Tarzan will be attending the National Gypsy horse show at the end of October with his amazing trainer Katie @ KD Performance Horses then he will join the gelding club before coming home to Wisconsin 💜💜

Emblazon gave us two beautiful fillies, first a black pearl (suspected, color test is pending) from SD Isn’t She Lovely PSR on 6/8 and a buckskin from Rosie’s Black Heart this AM! Both fillies have a very nice hip and shoulder as well as being super friendly!

Sold and will be heading to the most wonderful family out east when her foal is weaned!

Rosie’s Black Heart is a 2011 GVHS/GHRA mare, EE, negative for pssm, 14.0 or 14.1 (need to double check). Professionally trained by Katie Hembree. Has been to a few shows, MN horse expo and several weekend camping trips. Shown by professionals and amateurs, points in halter and performance (WP, EP and freestyle). High point SR horse at 2022 Midwest Gypsy show. Started trail riding in 2023 and has been on several camping trips. Not quite confident enough to consistently lead but is an excellent follower. While she likes to walk along on the slow side, easily trots or canters when asked. Crosses water, logs, traffic safe, etc. even hammock safe! Previously received 4 star conformation evaluation.

Josie is an absolute sweetheart. She loves attention, kids, great for farrier and vet, loading/hauling, bathing, clipping etc. Her favorite word is cookie. She currently lives outside 24/7, but is great stalled too.

Proven broodmare. Can travel after her foal leaves with terms until then (may be more flexible if we’ve done business before or depending on location). Comes with her custom Allegany Mountain Saddle and bridle (had a custom tree, the others did not fit), in excellent condition, size 15.5”. Works nicely English in a sensation treeless (could possibly part with one for additional 🥕, these are great for trails or showing). May be put back into foal to Emblazon.

I can’t say enough good things about this mare. She’d be an excellent addition to your riding and breeding program. We have additional pictures in her album on our page. Professional pictures coming soon!

Rosie and Izzy got baths and haircuts today. Look at those dapples! Such good girls. Excited to see Izzy’s baby in about a month, bred to Emblazon!

Emblazon is excited to say he’s earned his Legion of Honor award from GVHS! While most of his points were earned prior to us owning him, the last chunk he needed was achieved showing in hand and under saddle with his amateur owner. He only showed one show this year but did very well in his classes, earning a bit over the points needed for the LOH award. So proud of this boy!
