I am going to wrap up my favorite "hidden treasures" with a sweet little lady we call Elsie (LC). This special girl came to us as a kitten but still with us as she gets overlooked time and again both because of her soft way and because she is an invisible black cat. You can always pick LC out of the group because of her curled tail with a white tip and she hops like a bunny sometimes when she runs. LC is not really a typical shy cat, she is actually quite friendly. She loves attention and will take all you have to give but she tends to stay back from new people or cat crowds because of her gentle nature. LC would be happiest with a warm lap, a sunny window, and a person whose gentle soul is the perfect match for her's. ❤️

Do you like the shy sensitive type? Salem is your man! This big hunk would definitely keep you warm on a night like tonight! Once he gets to know you Salem will come out for attention because he does love it. He will lean in for pets and even roll or rub against your hand if you take too long of a lovin break. He just tends to be a little more reserved at first but don't let that fool you this sweet ginger boy is just waiting for his best friend to come for him.

Update on Allie. This sweet little girl needs a forever family. She would be best if she has a doggy friend because she needs to build her confidence. Our Carla is the definition of a shy girl! She came (back) to the shelter as an older gal that had a home until one day, by no fault of hers, she didn't. This was very hard on Carla who was adopted through us as a kitten only to be returned many years later. She normally hides in a specific cubby but will purr and roll if you take time out of your day to show her some love. She truly appreciates it and you can see she is not used to getting noticed.
