PUPDATE: 🩵 Clark was adopted, and his family reports that he's doing great - acclimating to his new home and lovely new life! These folks drove 70 miles to meet and adopt Clark. They knew that a rescue dog isn't damaged, he's a dog who was dealt a bad hand by humans, but responded with grace and courage. Clark came to us with heartworms, but with your generous support, we treated that and he now has a healthy, happy life ahead of him. Thank you to all our supporters who make outcomes like this possible!

This bitty baby needs our help. Can you help? If someone will foster while we look for a forever home, we'll provide food, litter, and veterinary care. If you'd like to adopt, we'll take care of veterinary care, including spay/neuter.

Available now! 🩷 Sweet Weimaraner mix Belle arrived at the shelter extremely thin and malnourished (see last two pictures). With a proper feeding plan and a lot of love, she's started to gain some healthy weight! We're thrilled at the transformation she’s making - in just a week, she gained eight pounds. We can’t wait to watch Belle continue to flourish, and find a home with a person who will treat her like a real member of the family, as they should!

When you support Paws of Love, whether you give a monetary gift, the gift of your time as a volunteer, or share our adoptable pet posts on social media, you make the light of hope burn brighter for helpless pets. Thank you so much to our friends at Animal Health Center of Lawrence County for the harnesses and lick mats! We love for our shelter pups to have both physical and mental enrichment opportunities. We appreciate all y'all do for the pets! Skye took a lick mat on her field trip yesterday - she's partial to peanut butter with chicken jerky crumbles. Big bonus, she got love from a precious kiddo. This girl loves children even more than she loves peanut butter. ❤️

Meet little miss Mena and check out her gorgeous Tortoiseshell-patterned coat! She has the cutest short, little bob tail too. Sweet and snuggly, she naps in the silliest positions in her foster home. This baby is vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and will be spayed before she goes to her new home. Please share and help Mena find her very own family.

Update: FOUND! ❤️ Courtesy Post: lost: Please be on the lookout for Cash. She jumped/fell out of a truck bed on 12-11-24. She got in the truck at Animal Health Center of Lawrence County, the owner stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of FE Sellers Hwy and Hwy 27, then noticed she was gone a few miles down Hwy 27 South. Cash just had spay surgery the previous day and has no idea where she is. Please be on the lookout for her and report any sightings. 769-281-8202
